Data Leadership Coaching

Become the Data leader your organisation needs.

Senior Data roles demand more than technical knowledge. They require commercial judgement, executive influence, confident communication and the ability to build teams that deliver.

This fixed 12-week programme combines professional coaching and mentoring with real experience leading Data teams and delivering measurable business value.

Led by Tom Arnold, an experienced Data Director who is CMI-qualified in coaching and mentoring.

Built for the real demands of Data leadership

This programme is for Data leaders who want to become more effective in the role, not simply acquire more technical knowledge.

  • New Heads of Data and Data Directors stepping into broader accountability
  • Technical leaders who need to communicate more commercially
  • Established leaders navigating transformation, growth or organisational change
  • Data leaders struggling to align executives, stakeholders or teams
  • Aspiring senior leaders preparing for their next role

Probably not the right fit when

  • You only want technical training or certification
  • You want someone else to make your leadership decisions
  • You are looking for unlimited ad-hoc advice
  • You are seeking therapy or clinical support

A focused 12-week coaching programme

The programme is coaching-led, with practical mentoring where experience or context would be useful and both parties agree it is appropriate.

  1. 1

    Starting diagnostic

Clarify the current leadership situation, desired outcomes and one important real-world challenge.

  2. 2

    Six confidential sessions

Six structured one-to-one sessions across 12 weeks, focused on live leadership situations rather than abstract theory.

  3. 3

    Practical actions

Agree specific actions, conversations or leadership experiments between sessions.

  4. 4

    Progress review

Review what has changed, what still needs attention and the next 90 days of development.

This is a fixed leadership-development programme. It is not day-rate consulting, unlimited access or outsourced ownership of the participant’s role.

Practical change, not just good conversations

  • Clear leadership priorities
  • Greater confidence in executive conversations
  • A stronger approach to prioritisation and decision-making
  • Practical actions for one significant leadership challenge
  • Improved stakeholder and team alignment
  • A personal 90-day leadership plan

Confidential by design

Coaching conversations remain confidential. Where an employer sponsors the programme, the participant, sponsor and coach agree the intended outcomes at the beginning.

Any opening or closing sponsor conversation focuses on objectives and progress, not the confidential content of individual coaching sessions.
